Let’s face it, blog owners want people to comment on their posts. I’m no exception. However, many more savy blog readers want more for taking the time to comment as opposed to merely lurking. And this is what prompted me to do something about it. I’ve flipped the switch to allow all approved comment links to be followed by Google and other search engines. I’ve also installed a few other plugins to help me show my blog contributors even more link love.

If you are a member of an affiliate or resellers program, and you were given a web site or web page from which to promote the program, you should pay very close attention to this article. It will open your eyes to why it is almost impossible to get the search engines to give you a high ranking.

99.9% of all affiliate programs which offer a web page or web site as part of the joining package, give what is referred to as a “self replicated” site or page. This means it is a page or site that is identical to every other member also in the same affiliate program with one very small exception. The only difference between all the pages is your affiliate number or email address.

This is search engine suicide and despite what you may have been told, if you think you are ever going to get far trying to get these type sites listed high in the search engines, it will never ever happen. You will get further paddling a boat across the lake with a huge hole in it!

The reason affiliate groups give these types of pages out, is because it is very easy to generate them using a script from their web site. The main objective for most of these affiliate type companies is to get as many people signed up as possible into their program. The more people they have signed up, the more overall sales they will generate for the company.

Imagine for a moment you are surfing the web, and you run across a link with a headline promising that if you click it, you will discover a way to earn a phenomenal income. So, you go ahead and click it and stand by to be taken to the associated web site. Here’s a small part of the psychology that goes on in 89% of web surfers minds as they look for helpful web sites.

If you submit your URL(s) either by hand or use a web submission service, or belong to any of the many affiliate programs, you should read the following VERY carefully! It will save you lots of time, energy, and effort. And it will also save you many headaches.

Each day the Internet welcomes thousands of entrepreneurs each eager to claim their fair share of an incredible income. In life things happen in stages and in this article you are going to learn what really happens as opposed to what you may have been told by some shall we say “crafty” marketer’s! I have seen time and time again, people lose motivation very quickly after they try marketing on the Internet, and do not immediately get thousands of orders like they may have been promised. Well not quite, here’s what really happens and why you should give very serious thought to how your web address can actually be BLOCKED BY THOUSANDS of sites all over the Internet! Make sure you know who you are doing business with or they may do more harm than good for your URL.
