Here’s a simple explanation of why it’s really smart for you to leave lots of comments on this blog:

Googlebot is the software used by Google, which collects documents from the web to build a searchable index for the Google search engine. Google finds and categorizes websites through the constant use of the Googlebot that is crawling millions of websites and blogs all the time.

Most websites and blogs restrict Googlebot from being able to follow all links it finds thanks to a default nofollow attribute. This means leaving a comment on those sites isn’t going to help you nearly as much as leaving one on this blog will.

DoFollow

The DoFollow plugin removes the automatic rel=”nofollow” attribute added to external links. This means that when Googlebot and other search engine spiders crawl this blog they will follow all links they discover including yours when you post comments! Pretty cool huh?

The more links to your blog or website the higher it will rank in search results and the higher your PageRank will be. This is why it is extremely important to get as many relevant backlinks as possible. This blog helps you do both automatically when you leave comments.

CommentLuv

This plugin allows me to reward you automatically each time you leave a comment on this blog by placing a link to your last blog post at the end of your comment. It works by visiting your site while you are typing your comment and retrieves a selection of your last blog posts, tweets or digg submissions which you can choose from to include at the bottom of your comment. For this plugin to work, you need to make sure you are logged on and have your homepage URL set in your profile page in the dashboard of your site. Make sure you go to ComLuvand register to maximize the benefit of this great plugin.

Here’s how it looks:

Just below the submit button you will see the CommentLuv drop down menu opened up to display my last ten blog posts.

I can elect to use the default, which in this example is Complete 53 Volume Subliminal Library Special Offer or I can choose one of the posts below it.

Tip: Always choose a post that is most related to the topic of the post you are commenting on. This will engage more readers and give you the highest chance of getting clicks through to your site.

If you look at the name field of this image you will notice I’ve entered Britt Phillips @ Free Website Traffic Methods instead of simply my name.

On most blogs by default you can simply enter your name. Many blog owners will not approve your comments unless you include your name. I’m NOT that way. : ) You can enter your keywords in the name field with or without your name.

And this brings me to the next great plugin which is KeywordLuv.

KeywordLuv

This plugin is very easy to understand. When you enter your name @ your keyword(s) in the name field KeywordLuv automatically links your keywords to the website you entered into the website field. This gives you a backlink with Anchor text.

Look back at the above sample comment image. Look at the Anchor text I used… “Free Website Traffic Methods” this is the phrase that will be linked to the page on my blog where I’m selling a DVD that reveals over 50 ways you can get FREE website traffic! : )

Here’s a few examples:

In the first post the person entered king @ automobile accident attorney in the name field.

In the second post the person entered Mike @ Job Search in the name field.

In the third post the person entered Bowflex Treadmills in the name field.

In each example the KeywordLuv plugin automatically linked the keyword phrase to the website entered in the website field when submitting the comment.

Also, notice in the second comment just below Mike’s name, you also see his Twitter ID and it too is linked, to his Twitter account.

The next plugin is called TwitterLink and it’s pretty cool.

TwitterLink

This plugin is pretty simple to understand. You simply enter your Twitter account name in the Twitter field. The TwitterLink plugin takes your Twitter name and places it below whatever you entered in to the name field and displays it in your comment. People who read your comment can also click your Twitter name and be taken to your Twitter page! It’s a great way to generate more interest and followers.

Top Commentator

This plugin displays (in the right column of every blog page) the top ten contributors, the total number of comments they’ve made and their name. Notice in this example how Wayne used his name while Nath took advantage of the KeywordLuv plugin and used the keyword phrase Ipod 4 Touch. The plugin take whatever you enter in to the name field when you leave your comment.

Tip:If you would like to increase your comment count and have it displayed as a backlink on the Top Commentators widget in the sidebar of every page, make sure to include the same data in the name field.

So there you have it, several smart reasons you should leave comments on this blog and do it often.

Ask a large number of people who have tried and failed in any sales related position and you’ll most likely hear things like… “I’m not cut out for sales.”… “There are too many objections.”… “No one has the money”… etc. However the fact is sales like anything else simply needs to be learned. The process must be studied. And here lies the problem. Most are lazy and do not want to take the time to discover how the sales process actually works and thusly how to be really good at it.

Let’s look at the excuses.

“I’m not cut out for sales.”…

Despite what many claim, I would argue that anyone can learn to become a sales superstar. I feel this way because of the many I’ve shown how to apply simple to understand principles to become amazingly successful. There are countless people who do a variety of professions that if you asked them before they got in to it if they ever thought they would be doing it, and they say absolutely not!

“There are too many objections.”…

False. There are only the same handful. You simply need to learn how to easily overcome them! This process is rather elementary once you tale the time to discover how people think and what their fears and motivators are. 9 out of 10 people who throw around objections are really telling you their fears described as questions! They are telling you how to sell to them.

“No one has the money”…

Simply not true. There will always be an endless supply of people to sell to who do have the money. It’s simply a matter of knowing how to find them and then not being afraid to ask for the sale. Unfortunately one of the biggest reasons most fail in sales is they approach the wrong kinds of people and then are clueless about how to sell at all. So even if they were to find the right person to approach, they would screw it up anyway because they were too lazy to first learn how to sell properly.

I could go on and on but you should get the jest of it with these examples. Clearly selling is not for everyone. It’s only for those individuals who want to amass significant income for life. Why did I make this statement? Again it’s very simple. Look at anyone currently ultra successful. Anyone who has ever made a fortune was someone selling something to someone else. Do you honestly think they were just born to be natural sales people?

I’m a great example. I thought I would retire as a Private Investigator. I spent 14 years as an investigator working all sorts of high profile cases. Then the Internet bug bit me and I started all over again in a completely foreign field. And today I’m a self-made millionaire. And for me to walk away from $60. an hour to an uncertain income in sales wasn’t easy. I had to step out in faith. So think about where I would be if I had not took the chance at a better quality of life. Sure I would enjoy what I was doing as a P.I., but I would not have scratched the surface of my true potential. Have you scratched the surface of yours or are you to busy scratching to barely survive?

Stop listening to people who aren’t qualified to help you. Get the facts. Go to your local book store and sit in the aisle reading the sales books. The one consistent theme you will discover is that once you understand the difference between fear and motivation, your income will skyrocket.

Many say I simply don’t like selling. This may shock you but I don’t like it either! I hate live presentations. Not so much because I can’t do them, but rather because they aren’t really the most efficient use of my time. Instead I use the incredible technology available today combined with some amazing Internet Marketing tools and resources to automate 97% of the sales process. And because of this smarter way to do sales, by the time I actually speak with a prospect live they are already sold!

Always remember, you can settle for working harder, or you can get rich by working smarter.

Remember back in school that one class that was your favorite. You know the one you didn’t mind going to. The one you actually sort of looked forward to. The one you lost track of time in and it seemed like you had just sat down and already the bell rang the end of the class? Well chances are you most likely did your best in that class as well. Let’s face it. Most things in life are rarely as difficult as we make them out to be. And yet so many fail each day and offer up excuses like… “It was simply to hard.” or… “I just couldn’t understand it.” or… “There was no training.” or… “This business only works for some people.” The fact is most would learn if only they were gotten to a place where they forgot they were trying to learn and were given permission to discover the knowledge instead.

People do not like to learn. They see it as being a tough task. They don’t’ really mind discovering and here’s why. When people discover it is because they have their guard down and this allows them to be more open minded. And when a person is more relaxed and more open to suggestion, then the suggestion can easily take place.

Building a team is even in a lot of ways than working with just one person in a one-on-one scenario. The reason it’s often easier is because a group environment creates a buzz and an energy that people feed in to and get intoxicated by. They are sitting there excited to be part of the group.

Now sometimes you will have people who just sit there without much interaction. You have to watch those types of people because they tend to be shy and afraid to speak up. They often feel like anything they say will come across as dumb and they don’t want to feel the embarrassment. So they sit there without really understanding anything being shared with the group and as a result they learn nothing and will never perform.

The way to ensure everyone grows in your group and they multiply is simple.

1) Make it fun to learn.

2) Create energy.

3) Create a buzz of excitement.

4) Encourage the shy ones to participate.

5) Build team members up.

6) Offer constant encouragement.

7) Never allow anyone to give up.

Communicate with your team frequently.

9) Offer real solutions to common issues every newbie faces.

10) Genuinely care about your team members success.

If you will practice these things, you group will grow rather quickly. And if your having trouble having personal success or building a team it is a safe bet you are missing these important elements.

Here’s a simple formula you can use when writing ad copy. It’s broken down into four elements and each element has a very important job. Each element on its own tackles a critical part of the final sale. And the combined element pulls everything together as it should be to ensure a winning ad or great ad copy.

ATTENTION:

The first element is attention. This is the headline and it should be written to grab attention and not to close the sale. Rarely can you close the sale with just the headline so don’t try.

INTEREST:

After you grab their attention interest is the next element. You want to reach people with interest in what you are offering. Your ad copy needs to stimulate interest. This is most commonly accomplished by describing your product or service as something that fills a need or solved a problem or makes life easier etc.

DESIRE:

This is a very important part of your ad copy because the desire part is what really tugs on the emotional heartstrings of the buyer. It is here that you provide copy that supports how by using your product or service that the buyer will get the things they are looking for.

ACTION:

The last elements is action. This is where most copywriters really mess it all up. They are afraid to ask for the sale! Never be afraid to ask for the sale. Always remember that people are looking for what you offer. There are millions of niche markets. Someone someone somewhere wants exactly what you offer. And unless you ask for the sale you are never going to get it.
