As a serial marketer, I’m always looking for effective ways to market stuff that I can blend in to whatever else I’m already doing. To me this just makes logical sense. My thinking here is that I’m already going to be doing X so I might as well see if I can drum up a little exposure for my stuff while I’m doing it.

Buying groceries is a great example of what I mean. And I actually have come up with two effective marketing strategies I always apply every time my wife and I go to buy groceries. We are in the grocery store every week without fail. We’re in there for at least 45 minutes going up and down the aisles, hanging out at the deli counter, looking over the produce etc. And we’re not alone.

The great thing about the two strategies I use is they require people to work. And it just so happens that a grocery store is an excellent place for plenty of people to always be. Plus you can somewhat target the demographic to a certain degree using simple logic. I mean – how hard is it to know the average age range of other people shopping? Not very. Combine this with an offer targeted to the demographic and presto you have a great marketing opportunity. Hell, you might even sell something!

So here’s the deal. The first strategy I use is a polo shirt. I’m going to be wearing a shirt in the store anyway, so I figure why not wear one that has a marketing message on it. Makes sense right? Well, what if my marketing message teases other shoppers to ask me how they can save thousands on groceries and in their favorite restaurants, do you think that may cause an eyebrow or two to raise? It sure does. On average about 8 people approach me for more information. My shirt also contains my web site address on it so even more see it and perhaps look it up when they get back home.

As a marketer, I’m always looking for effective ways to sell more stuff. I like selling stuff. If you’re reading this then chances are high that you like selling stuff as well. What if there were a way for you to sell more stuff on auto-pilot, would you be pleased to discover how it works?

I’m pleased to announce a brand new web site that offers a powerfully effective marketing strategy. The startegy is easy to implement. You can literally generate new prospects and clients on auto-pilot while you are doing the things you normally do such as go to the movies, shop in the grocery store, pump gas etc.

I discovered how powerful this marketing strategy is several months ago when testing it to promote a DVD I created called Free Gas. I wanted to get the word out in my local area about the DVD and this marketing concept proved to be extremely effective. The bottom line is I tested it and it worked.

Several years ago I got a telephone call from a guy who thought he would appraise the value of a CD I was selling for $39.95. He thought he would affix a value of $10.00 and I would jump at the chance to make something as opposed to losing the sale. He quickly discovered he was wrong. He also discovered an extremely valuable marketing lesson that he gladly paid much more for. And he was thrilled to do it!
