I love the idea of the Flip, even though I don’t have one. What I’m not sure of is how I feel about video on my blog. I guess this is one area of technology that I’m dragging my feet on a little.
Many are afraid of video. Technology is here to stay however so you have to sort of force yourself to adapt to it. Otherwise yourblog, your website, your entire marketing strategy will fail. Having video on your site not only demonstrates to people that you are a real person displaying a bit of your personality, it also confirms you are up on the latest technology and havethe knowledge required to help them get there as well.
One of the many reasons the Flip video camera launches have been so wildly successful is because they enable people to easily make this transition and in a really fun way. Grab yourself a Flip Mino HD camera and simply take a couple weeks getting to know how it works. Shoot lots of video. Be careful to note things like composition, lighting,l sound quality etc. Just have fun with it. One of the things that makes video so powerful is often it doesn’t have to be perfect to be really effective. It’s a great medium.
Flips are just one of a new wave of products that are going to help push the population that aren’t using the web already to do so. They are a fabulous tool. If you don’t have one, make sure yo get one. Great site by the way.

Flip cameras would be very useful for marketing purposes. Very cheap and affordable way to create online videos and can still carry it around for personal use.

Why would this mean the end of flip. Cisco has not ruined Scientific Atlanta of Linksys have they? SA had nowhere but up to go anyway.
i like it. do you think it’s a virus free camcoder?
but i think its not a cheap.
The Flip Mino captures video in 640×480 resolution at 30 frames per second. an internal rechargeable battery (instead of 2 AA batteries) and touch-sensitive pause, fast forward and rewind buttons, whereas the Flip had none of these. The Mino is almost 2 ounces lighter than the Flip and the arm with the USB plug on it has changed positions. It is the best budget camcorder available in the market.
